one of the few hats I designed and made for the races ;)...i have always wanted to learn proper hat making and decorating ;)... i just don't have enough time for it though :(....maybe later on ;)..

I Won It ;)
This was Renee's deb dress but she wanted to wear it again. So we entered it as a wedding dress after i made that funny looking head dress. Joining the Fashion Awards was only for fun and I didn't really expect to win because I didn't have time to design another dress for the competition. Thou I am positive that the quality of the finished garment was one of the reasons why I won it ;) . I am very particular with the quality of the works of my hands ;) . That is why I don't like going into mass production. I prefer to offer personalised service to my clients. Joining the competition for me is always going to be only for fun because I am not a competetive person. The pressure is not worth it for me.

a short article published in the local newspaper about why i chose my career in sewing and how i started my designing/dressmaking/tailoring business here in the western suburb of melbourne and how much i enjoy my work making people feel good about themselves wearing the clothes i made ;)
